Caitlin Clark Invited to USA Basketball National Team Training Camp

Hawkeye star earns invite to camp ahead of 2024 Olympics

Caitlin Clark Foundation mission in action

Iowa superstar Caitlin Clark is one step closer to playing on the USA Basketball Women's Olympic Team. The Hawkeye guard has been invited to the USA Basketball national team training camp during the Final Four in Cleveland, contingent on Iowa's tournament status.

Clark, who is a two-time Naismith National Player of the Year, is one of 35 players who have been invited to the camp. The camp will be held from March 30-April 2 and will give Clark a chance to showcase her skills in front of USA Basketball coaches.

If Clark is selected to the Olympic team, she would be the first Iowa player to play on the U.S. women's basketball team since Cindy Brogdon in 1988.

The Caitlin Clark Foundation, which was founded by Clark and her family, is dedicated to uplifting and improving the lives of youth and their communities through education. The foundation has donated more than $1 million to support educational programs in Iowa.

Clark's invitation to the USA Basketball training camp is a testament to her hard work and dedication. She is a role model for young athletes and a shining example of the power of determination.
