Men Spotted Floating in Kayak by Cruise Ship
A Carnival cruise ship has rescued two men who were stranded at sea after their boat sank in the Gulf of Mexico. The men were spotted floating in a kayak by the cruise ship, which was on its way to Cozumel, Mexico.
Men Rescued After Hours in Water
The men, who have not been identified, were rescued about 100 miles off the coast of Galveston, Texas. They had been in the water for several hours before they were spotted by the cruise ship. The men were taken aboard the cruise ship and are being treated for hypothermia.
The Carnival cruise ship is expected to arrive in Cozumel on Sunday. The rescued men will be transferred to Mexican authorities once the ship docks.
