Tourist Entry Requirements Eased in Argentina
Level 1 Reissued with Updates to Crime Information
Affidavit Declaración No Longer Required
Effective August 24th, 2022, the Argentine government has lifted the requirement for foreign tourists to present the affidavit Declaración upon entry into the country. This change aligns with the "Level 1: Exercise Normal Precautions" travel advisory issued by the US Department of State, which has been reissued with updated crime information.
Previously, tourists were required to complete an online health declaration and submit a sworn affidavit regarding their travel history and health status.
The removal of this requirement simplifies the entry process for foreign visitors, making it easier and more convenient to travel to Argentina.
